(Hed) P.E.
While California-based hardcore pioneers (hed) p.e. have enjoyed successful albums, and even registered a Top 30 Modern Rock single, they are now embraced as one of the top underground acts on the independent scene. “When I first started making records, I was mostly writing party music, and some subject matter with social commentary,” says frontman Jared, referring to his formative years in the music industry. “I never dreamt that I would one day be in a band that actually has a divine purpose.” The purpose to which Jared refers is what is commonly referred to as “The Truth Movement.”

“Now that (Hed)p.e. has developed mentally and spiritually into what we are today, we find that the underground youth are rallying around us. (Hed)p.e. is focused and crystal clear. It feels special to be involved in a band that actually stands for something.”

Since joining the Suburban Noize stable in 2006, (hed) p.e. has enjoyed a rebirth of grand proportions. After a series of releases with major labels that stifled the band’s creativity, (hed) p.e. has been embraced by an underground movement that celebrates the musical melting pot that their music exemplifies. The group has created a dedicated following by opening sold-out tours for Tech N9ne, Kottonmouth Kings and Papa Roach, as well as selling out venues across the country and overseas on their own headlining tours.

No 1 Left Standing
No 1 Left StandingNamed for their approach to the music business, “No 1 Left Standing” is leaving just that in their wake. 2 time winner of 106.7 KBPI’s Best Band in Denver Contest, this “Aggressive Hip-Hop”, 6 piece live band has left the competition in their seats time and time again. Formed by front man James Belarde, this diverse collection of musicians screams talent and originality. Often compared to “Rage against the Machine”, most likely due to the politically charged, no holds barred nature of their music, anyone who spends time near this group can sense success on the horizon for the “gas mask society”.
Live and on stage is the place to catch No 1 Left Standing if you truly want to get the full picture of what this band is all about. Energy and intensity are their trademarks and they bring it to the stage on every occasion. You may have seen them on a number of KBPI bills opening for the likes of Korn, Avenged Sevenfold and other industry names. You might have also caught them amongst the ranks of monthly showcase performances from 8th ElemEnt Entertainment, a Colorado-Based Independent Record Label with which the band teamed up in 2011 to release their first full-length album: “Fine American Mental Product” or “F.A.M.P.”. Since joining the team, “No 1 Left” has continued to flourish, adding new dimensions to their repertoire and finding a home amongst the confines of what is quickly becoming Colorado’s largest and most prominent entertainment organization.
Plans for the future show signs of nothing but further progress. Tour locations are being opened all over the country and you are likely to see No 1 Left Standing in your city very soon. Physical and digital distribution of the current and future projects provides mass access to this once underground treasure. The band’s next EP titled “Tha Gas Mask Society” is slated for release in March 3rd 2012 at The Summit Music Hall, with production from Colorado Sound. Denver’s premier recording studio and release under 8th ElemEnt Entertainment.

JDirty Album Release Show
JDirty Album Release ShowSo much can be said about JDirty, but the story can’t start without the words “Gathering Of The Juggalos”. In 2008, J emerged as the GOTJ Freestyle Champion, and was featured in the Family Underground DVD. Shortly after taking his crown, and releasing “A College Degree Well Wasted”, JDirty gained massive amounts of online recognition from his “People Of Wal-Mart” raps, which have earned him just under 1,000,000 views on YouTube. In 2010 JDirty released his sophomore effort, “The Scrub Tape”, which quickly became an underground sensation and even got the attention of the Howard Stern Show. Now in 2012, J is getting ready to drop his new album “Employees Must Wash Hands Before Returning To Work”, all while hosting the widely popular internet radio show “Socially Awkward”. JDirty and his Scrub Hop movement are here to stay.
